Lovely location for an evening walk, but very hard to reach unless you have a car, very romantic

Number one o top
Very nice …
A charming place on the promontory of Posillipo
I was part of a large group taken there by high ranking US Navy officials in the early 1980s. The food consisted of many courses chosen for us by the owner. The quality of the food was uniformly excellent and the service was attentive but not intrusive. We essentially owned the long table at which we were seated for the evening.Other long tables were occupied by large Italian extended families with the “capo” seated at the top of the table and the eldest woman “nona” seated at the bottom with younger adults and children seated in between. From the current reviews it seems that things have changed a lot and not in a positive direction.Sic transit gloria mundi.John Penhune, PhD
